The DRS (Decompression Reduction Stabilization) System was developed through years of clinical research and is the result of the combined efforts of Neurosurgeons, Orthopedic surgeons and biomedical engineers. Following the successful treatment of more than 8,000 patients, FDA clearance was issued in April of 1997, and the systems became available for medical use in January of 1998. This treatment is used for disc decompression and spinal decompression. This type of treatment has been quite effective in the Orlando area for back pain and leg pain.
